Emma Shepherd talks about her business on Diversity and Inclusion and why ignoring it could cost your business dearly, especially if you miss out on £274b of purple spending power
Emma Shepherd set up her business, Let's Talk Disability in 2019 and has taken her passion, experience and understanding, to support other businesses to expand their talent pool, increase their accessibility and heighten their understanding of both disability and mental ill health. Emma is disabled, a part time wheelchair user and has Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Migraines and mental ill health. When not working Emma started a mental health Cafe in Croydon at the beginning of 2022, has two teenage boys and three shih tzus dogs that keep her busy.

Excellent podcast Emma, very informative. Every business, and disabled person by default, needs ‘Let’s Talk Disabilities’. Disabled people, both physically and mentally, are valuable people too - via the purple pound and word of mouth. Common sense that is not common enough! Thank you.
