StartUp Croydon Talks to Local Business Owners

Tanya & Nicola - 07/03/23

T&N Naturals is a family-run business - Tanya and Nicola - established in 2021 during lockdown to supply juices to friends and family. Since January 2022, T&N Naturals expanded their customer base by selling to groups such as B2B, B2C, traders, health-conscious consumers, and gym lovers as a nutritional juice made from sea moss blended with exotic fruits.

 

 

Kelvin Asare - 22/12/22

Kelvin recently graduated from university and is currently taking a gap year to travel around the world before starting his full time role within the financial sector. Kelvin is passionate about supporting the local community and is always ready to help others when needed.

 

 

Ibrahim Animashawun - 7/3/23

Ibrahim is our volunteer special projects assistant, and as a service user, Ibrahim is in the process of starting up his own social enterprise in Disability Awareness and Education Consultancy. Ibrahim supports the project manager in helping the bid writing applications and conducting research on entrepreneurship.

 

Ella Brown, who interviewed Ibrahim, came to StartUp Croydon on a work experience placement for two weeks. Her interests are writing blogs and articles and she is in the process of writing her novel. She would like to come back to Startup Croydon to volunteer soon.

 

 

Latoya Busumbru - 21/02/23

Latoya runs her own CIC called WombBae which grew throughout the lockdowns following the pandemic os 2020. She is also StartUp Croydon's front-of-house administrator and social media guru and is excited to be working in the world of startup businesses helping others to develop their ambitions using her experience to inspire others.

Martin Riley is a leadership and business coach with more than 20 years’ experience in helping business leaders develop simple but effective plans, then turning them into action, with motivated and engaged teams, through better leadership.

Geoff Ranson runs StartUp Croydon’s Business Incubator programme helping budding entrepreneurs understand every aspect of running a business and empowering them to run their own business.
